Book cover design

Custom book cover design and formatting (print, digital) for entrepreneurs and self- publishers.

Two seconds is the time it takes to distinguish between a new reader and someone who just glances at your book. An engaging book cover design is the key to grabbing a reader’s attention and getting the sale.

It doesn’t matter if it is a book cover design for Amazon, other self-publishing services, digital or print…a custom book cover design that visually represents the concept of the book sells by itself.

At a time when self-publishing books is as easy as clicking across a few screens, it is crucial to differentiate your book from the competition. Standing out from the noise (an average adult receives between 6,000 and 30,000 messages every day) is not an option, it is the only way to go.

BOOK DESIGN, GOALS, AND WORKING TOGETHER TO ACHIEVE THEM

The book cover design process serves only one aim: to achieve the goals you have set for your self-published book.

The right book cover design that speaks straight away to your target audience and the right trim size set the conditions for being chosen from among the competitors.

To find the ideal book cover design and format, we will work together through four main steps:

  1. Understand your goals and motivations.
  2. Identify the target audience you want to reach and engage with—think of the persona who will click on your book’s picture and add it to the shopping cart or pick it up from the shelf and take it to the till.
  3. Look at comparable titles (other book covers in your genre that speak to you); what kinds of designs, pictures, or illustrations inspire you? How are book covers in the same conceptual universe designed? We will look for gaps and opportunities to fill or improve upon.
  4. Experiment with different concepts, iterations, and resources until, finally, resulting in the design that best highlights and expresses the soul of your project and speaks to your target audience.

Looking forward to learning more about your project and finding a way to make it stand out from the crowd.
