Posting on its Facebook page is one of the ingredients of the communication mix that the City of Bainbridge Island uses to reach residents.
To find a group of volunteers to become part of the Sustainable Transportation Task Force, Facebook was one of the chosen channels. This task force is a group of volunteers that bring their expertise to find ways to reduce the carbon footprint of transportation on the island.
The digital artwork was used on Facebook posts and displayed on Washington State Ferries connecting Bainbridge Island and Seattle.
